Third-party platform data: When you connect social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, X), we receive profile information and content metrics as authorized through each platform’s OAuth flow.

Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

3a. TikTok Data Usage

When you connect your TikTok account through our Service, we access and process the following data through TikTok’s official API, solely with your authorization:

• Profile information: Username, display name, and profile image for account identification within Waggle.
• Content publishing: We upload and publish video content to your TikTok account on your behalf, only when explicitly scheduled or approved by an authorized account manager.
• Content metrics: View counts, likes, comments, and shares for published content, used to generate performance analytics within the Service.

We do not sell TikTok user data. We do not use TikTok data for cross-context behavioral advertising. TikTok data is stored securely and used exclusively to provide the Service as described above. You may revoke TikTok access at any time through your TikTok account settings or by contacting us.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

• Social media platforms: Content you authorize us to publish is transmitted to TikTok, Instagram, X, and other connected platforms via their official APIs.
• Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting (Railway), database (Supabase), media storage (Cloudflare R2), and video processing (Coconut.co). These providers process data solely on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), signed session tokens (JWT), and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Content published to third-party platforms is subject to those platforms’ retention policies. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
